Recently, the homosexuality of the Ancient Greeks has been a hot-topic in discourse. Some claim that they were not tolerant of homosexuality, and that mainstream claims to the contrary are made up to push an agenda. However, the evidence on this topic is clear. The Athenians definitely practiced widespread pederasty, which included adult homosexuality, in the 300s BC. This in part provides evidence for a decadence-cycle theory of history.
